Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Pigmnt ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Pigmnt is developed and operated by BenjaDev, an independent developer.

Description of Service

Pigmnt is an iOS application that generates color palettes using AI technology. The app allows users to create, save, and export color palettes for use in design and development projects.

Accounts

You may use Pigmnt as a guest without creating an account. To access cloud sync and certain features, you can create an account using your email address or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Subscriptions & Billing

Pigmnt offers two tiers:

• Free — Random palette generation, photo extraction, save & sync, sharing
• Pro — All Free features plus text-to-palette (AI), code exports, and unlimited saves

Pro subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and managed via RevenueCat. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms for in-app purchases. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.

Content Ownership

All color palettes you create using Pigmnt belong to you. You retain full ownership of any content generated through the app, including palettes created via AI text-to-palette generation. You are free to use your palettes for any purpose, including commercial projects.

AI-Generated Content

Pigmnt uses OpenAI technology to power the text-to-palette feature. Text prompts you provide are sent to OpenAI for processing. While we strive for accurate and useful results, AI outputs may vary and we do not guarantee that generated palettes will meet specific requirements. No personal data is sent to OpenAI — only the text prompt you provide.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Abuse the AI generation feature by submitting harmful, abusive, or inappropriate prompts

Intellectual Property

The Pigmnt app, including its design, code, logo, and branding, is the intellectual property of BenjaDev. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the app without prior written permission.

Disclaimers

Pigmnt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. Use of the app is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BenjaDev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
