Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Pigmnt ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Pigmnt is developed and operated by BenjaDev, an independent developer.

Description of Service

Pigmnt is an iOS application that generates color palettes using AI technology. The app allows users to create, save, and export color palettes for use in design and development projects.

Accounts

Pigmnt does not have accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign in to: the app runs entirely on your device, and your palettes are stored only on that device.

Purchases & Billing

Pigmnt offers two tiers:

• Free — Unlimited palette generation from text, photos or shake, the curated palette library, saving to your library, HEX/RGB/HSL codes and share cards
• Pro — All Free features plus code exports (CSS variables, Tailwind config, SwiftUI and Adobe ASE)

Pigmnt Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is no auto-renewal and nothing to cancel: you pay once and Pro stays unlocked on your Apple ID. The purchase is processed by the Apple App Store (and managed via RevenueCat), so Apple's terms for in-app purchases apply. If you reinstall the app or change devices, use "Restore Purchases" to unlock Pro again at no cost.

Content Ownership

All color palettes you create using Pigmnt belong to you. You retain full ownership of any content generated through the app, including palettes created via AI text-to-palette generation. You are free to use your palettes for any purpose, including commercial projects.

AI-Generated Content

The text-to-palette feature is powered by Apple Intelligence and runs on your device; it requires an iPhone 15 Pro or newer. Your prompts are not sent to us or to any external AI provider. While we strive for accurate and useful results, AI outputs may vary and we do not guarantee that generated palettes will meet specific requirements.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Abuse the AI generation feature by submitting harmful, abusive, or inappropriate prompts

Intellectual Property

The Pigmnt app, including its design, code, logo, and branding, is the intellectual property of BenjaDev. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the app without prior written permission.

Disclaimers

Pigmnt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. Use of the app is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BenjaDev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
